Gosset Matchmakers is a competition for emerging chefs and sommeliers which focuses on teamwork and the creation of champagne and food pairings. Since 2019 Gosset has sponsored a 2D Design prize for silversmiths who are asked to respond to a brief created by Champagne Gosset. 2019 winner is David Stonehouse was asked to design a new trophy for Gosset’s Trophée Celebris. 

Their trip to Gosset was in February 2020. 

February is awards season and we are thrilled that Champagne is Gosset supports two of the UKs most exciting on-trade awards; Imbibe Personality of the Year and Class Bar Awards.

This February was a busy month for Champagne Gosset, and it continued apace with the 2020 Goldsmith’s Craft & Design Council Awards of which Gosset are a Patron.

Through our partnership with Castello Banfi, who are one of the event’s sponsors, we were lucky to have the opportunity to attend with a group of customers and journalists this February.

On Thursday 5th March, Murray McHenry presented an outstanding line up of wines, all from one of their three vineyards, named after Murray’s mother, Hazel. 

Congratulations to Wakefield Wines who received Best of Show Australia White for Jaraman Chardonnay 2018.
