Tasting note |
This wine is classically elegant, powerful and round with lovely aromas. In the mouth aromas of citrus fruits, fresh mint and spicy notes are developed. There are also notes of ripe fruits and honey.

Awards and Accolades |
Gold Medal, IWC 2014'Classic Chablis perfume of shellfish. Pale lemon, lengthy minerality, rich and concentrated. All this is packed in a really taught and tightly wound toasted nuts with buttery cream volume.' International Wine Challenge 2014 91 Points, Wine Enthusiast, December 2014'Ripe and creamy in apple and pear fruitiness, this is cut by just the right amount of acidity. It's balanced, with fruit and bright steeliness working well together...' Andrew Barrow, www.spittoon.biz, 5th April 2015"The combination of richness, freshness, restrained minerality and the grapey freshness really sang to me. This Chablis has received no oak but spent 12 months sitting on its lees. Interestingly this is a blend of grapes from two plots of vines. The first gives the purest acidity while the other, sited nearer a Grand Cru vineyard, has a greater richness." |
