Rolling Stone
The grapes are from the clay and ironstone pebbly soils prevalent on the McHenry Hohnen Vineyards south of Margaret River. With a northerly aspect, the vines enjoy long days of sunshine, moderated by the vineyard's southern location. Vineyard management embraces sustainable 'old school' practices following biodynamic principles.

Tasting note An earthy and intense blend, made via traditional method vinification, reveals a complex and alluring wine that is an authentic representation of variety, site and season. Made with minimal additives, this bold natural wine is unfined and unfiltered. Each variety contributes to a complete yet enigmatic blend, far exceeding the sum of the individual parts.

Awards and Accolades

98 Points, Ray Jordan, 3rd Aug. 2014

'The best barrels of the best parcels of dramatically reduced harvest have been chosen to produce wine of extraordinary style and quality. Half cabernet sauvignon with equal components of malbec and petit verdot. A beautiful mix of sweet fruit with a touch of chocolate. Tannins are silky and finely integrated and the oak worked perfectly to create an exquisite statement of Margaret River.'
