This wine is made of grapes from the blocky lateritic Rocky Road site which provides fruit with great flavour concentration and structural backbone. Vineyard management takes a back to basics approach at McHenry Hohnen embracing sustainable 'Old School' practices that were used before the rise of intense agriculture.

Tasting note	A seductive bouquet of fresh mulberries and cinnamon spice give way to fragrant white pepper and lavender bush. The palate is soft and juicy with red cherries, sour plums and savoury notes of salty liquorice and wet earth. The tannins are soft and velvety, and the finish is persistent.
