Calgardup Brook vineyard is located 20km South of Margaret River in the Forest Grove parish and just a couple of km from the Indian Ocean on the west. The maritime influence is particularly evident with cooling breezes blowing directly from the Indian Ocean which allow for the retention of delicate aromatics and flavour compounds. In addition, the wines produced here are mineral, with a distinctive salinity and a savoury aftertaste. | |

Tasting note |
A wine with a pristine purity that is part of the vineyard DNA. There’s a delightfully fresh pastry-like character and a lip-smacking salinity which is from the vineyard. The fruit concentration is superb with a pear and jasmine character that lifts off the nose with a distinctive flinty character with a light talcy influence.
