Vidal-Fleury's most significant vineyard holding is the 2.5 hectare Côte-Rôtie La Chatillonne located on the Côte Blonde. This vineyard produces the company's flagship wine and is internationally renowned for its quality.
Vidal-Fleury sources its other grapes and wines from reputable sources around the Rhône Valley. They take a keen interest in the vineyards and the health of the grapes to ensure only the highest quality wines are bottled under the Vidal-Fleury label.
Red wines and selected whites are matured in oak casks; a proportion of wines are matured in new oak. This restrained and selective use of oak ensures that the wines are supported and complemented by oak maturation but never dominated.
Vidal-Fleury vinifies many of its grapes at wineries close to the vineyards from which they come to ensure the grapes remain in good condition and do not have to travel long distances. Winemaker Antoine Dupré is present during the vinification process to ensure quality is maintained.
