This wine is made of grapes from the blocky lateritic Rocky Road site which provides fruit with great flavour concentration and structural backbone. Vineyard management takes a back to basics approach at McHenry Hohnen embracing sustainable 'Old School' practices that were used before the rise of intense agriculture.

Tasting note	On the nose this wine shows fresh blueberries with strawberries and cream confection giving way to cherry cola and white pepper notes. The palate brings ripe blueberries, Satsuma plums and red berry flavours together. These fruit flavours are complemented by underlying milk chocolate, fresh vanilla pods and sweet spices.
