BDX is McHenry Hohnen's primary red offering and is a blend of Malbec (44%), Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), Petit Verdot (18%). The three varieties play off each other perfectly in southern Margaret River. The wine is juicy, approachable and versatile but also serious, structured and long lived.

Tasting note	The nose reveals intense aromas of cassis and crushed violets. Sweetened spices and mulberries are complemented by more savoury notes of cedar and mocha.
