The Domaine de Valmoissine is located on the site of the ancient monastery and university of Valmoissine at 500 metres above sea-level. This high altitude provides plenty of sunshine with cooler temperatures. This helps to ensuring the grapes ripen slowly, on low yielding vines, avoiding jammy flavours or too much alcohol. Winemaking is simple and employs traditional Burgundian techniques. | |

Tasting note |
Sparkling ruby coloured with garnet tints, the Domaine de Valmoissine 2010 has a bouquet redolent of raspberry, blackberry and game. In the mouth it is round and fruity with supple tannins and wild herbal notes.
