In the latest limited release from Frapin’s Trésor du Château collection, cellar master Patrice Piveteau has combined three single vintage eaux de vies which exemplify Frapin’s unique terroir and commitment to the family’s ancient expertise. Multimillésime is a concept that was created by Cognac Frapin.
We welcomed this new release to the UK with a dinner in London at the legendary Blakes Hotel hosted by Patrice Piveteau. The Blakes’ team created a special menu paired with a range of cognacs from the Trésor du Château collection including Frapin 15 Year Old, a cask strength, non-chill filtered cognac that was released earlier this year. The evening culminated with the theatrical Gateaux Suzette conceived by George Austin, Blakes Food and Beverage Director. Watch George serving the dessert.
Frapin Multimillésime No. 7 awarded 98 points by Gilbert & Gaillard
“Stunning orangy hue with mahogany highlights. Extremely delicate nose with roasted coffee and mocha tones, a lick of spice and dried fruits. Incredibly well textured palate with explosive aromas and outstanding length.”
