Trophy winning Riesling from Wakefield

Wakefield Wines have just been awarded a Trophy at the Melbourne Royal Wine Show for their 2014 St Andrews Riesling.

The Clare Valley is well known for its Rieslings and Wakefield's flagship range, St Andrews, consistently delivers brilliant quality from exceptional blocks in the Taylor family's St Andrews vineyard. The Taylor family's property is in the south of the Clare Valley, in the Auburn sub-region.

This accolade follows on from Matthew Jukes Best 100 mentions for both the 2012 and 2013 vintages.
