Simonnet-Febvre is one of Chablis oldest names and was once well known for the quality of its wines. In the later half of the 20th century there was a gradual decline in the companies fortunues and Maison Louis Latour, seeing Simonnet-Febvre's potential, bought the company in 2003. Latour quickly installed talented winemaker Jean Philippe Archambaud at the helm who has has been responsible for a considerable leap in wine quality over the last decade.
