London Wine Fair 2018 - Masterclass Series (Part 1)
02 May 2018We will be hosting a series of masterclasses on each day of the London Wine Fair this year. Each masterclass will be run at the same time on all three days so no-one will miss out if you’re only planning on attending on one day. These masterclasses will explore the impact of location, season and the human hand on classic grape varieties. Presented by wine educator Quentin Sadler on our stand D36.
Masterclass One – 11am
The first in the series will focus on Sauvignon Blanc and the following wines will be shown:
- Simonnet-Febvre Saint Bris 2017
- Michel Redde Petit F… Pouilly-Fumé 2017
- MOMO Sauvignon Blanc 2016
- Morgenhof Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2017
- Viu Manent Estate Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Masterclass Two – 12pm
The second masterclass will be a vertical tasting from Castello Banfi of two of their Brunellos.
You will get the chance to taste three vintages of Castello Banfi Brunello Poggio alle Mura and Castello Banfi Brunello di Montalcino. Follow their evolution through the 2004, 2007 and 2013 vintages and see the changes in their barrels brought.
