HARVEST 2022

 

The 2022 harvest arrived early (harvesting began on 25th August), but results are exceptional in terms of both quality and quantity of grapes.

 

This harvest is characterized by a high degree of homogeneity between grape varieties and crus; all regions started picking at the same time!

 

Although a super-hot summer, the vines did not suffer from drought due to their deep roots embedded in the chalk.

 

"The fruits of the 2022 harvest are fully ripe, from both a phenolic and aromatic point of view. The potential alcohol level is high, around 10.9°.

The tasting of the musts confirms their roundness, and they present a beautiful acidity on the finish, which presages a beautiful profile for our wines.

Years with similar characteristics have generally given the cellar masters the opportunity to produce great vintages.

However, the decision to make vintage wines will only be taken when the base wines are being tasted in the spring.
