Cognac Frapin celebrate recent accolades

We are delighted to announce Cognac Frapin have been are awarded ‘Master’ for two of their XO cognacs at The Cognac Awards and ‘Best XO’ at the World Cognac Awards. 

 

The Cognac Masters 2018

In April 2018, The Spirits Business and a panel of leading spirits specialists hosted an exclusive blind tasting of the best Cognac brands on the market. In this blind taste test, the spirits are assessed and marked on nose, palate, appearance and overall balance.

Both Cigar Blend XO and Château Fontpinot XO got a "Master" medal (the highest accolade). These cognacs are crafted from an exceptional terroir located exclusively in the heart of Grande Champagne and ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation.

Cognac Frapin Cigar Blend XO was described by a member of the jury as "compelling and sublime". 

Château Fontpinot XO received these reviews: "Relax into like a comfortable armchair” and “The texture there is fantastic, really great. It was oily, mouth­-coating, something you want to pick up. Every time you taste it, you find new flavours.”

 

World Cognac Awards 2018

World Cognac Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best cognacs to consumers and trade across the globe. Judges making up the World Cognac Awards panel include leading journalists, specialist drinks retailers and industry experts.

 Cognac Frapin - Cigar Blend XO has been awarded "Best XO". This prize celebrates its balance, roundness, richness and long finish.
