Over 3 weeks, between the 12th of September till the 6th October, Cognac Frapin harvested its 240 hectares of grapes, situated in the heart of the Grande Champagne region.
The hot and dry summer encouraged the maturation of the grapes almost 2 weeks earlier than normal.
The limestone soils allowed the vines to resist the difficult and drought like conditions that persisted over the harvesting period.
Despite the absence of rain, the grapes were of a perfect size, producing good quantities and quality for a wine with low acidity and alcohol between 10%-11%
