Congratulations to Alessandro Palazzi of Dukes Hotel, London, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by Champagne Gosset. 

Alessandro Palazzi has been working in the bar trade for over 32 years. His work at Dukes Hotel has blazed a trail; from introducing the first female bartender to the team to making a martini cocktail to onto everyone's must-try list. He is an icon in the bartending world and a worthy winner. Unfortunately he couldn't be there on the evening so his award was collected by a colleague. 

The Class Bar Awards were held on Tuesday 12th February and celebrate the UK bar trade. The categories recognise both bars and bartenders across the country.
