We are happy to announce that noted family-owned Italian wine producer Castello Banfi has joined the Louis Latour Agencies portfolio. It is the first Italian, and European wine producer outside of France, that we have worked with.

Castello Banfi was founded in 1978 by the Mariani family in Montalcino.  Today they have estates in Montalcino, Bolgheri, Chianti and Piedmont.They share a similar philosophy to the other producers in our portfolio; combining modern innovation with time-honoured traditional practices whilst working with concern for the environment. In the last 40 years they have been at the forefront of the revival of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino,  engaging in significant academic studies into the region's geology, climate and different sangiovese clones.
