Orange North Canterbury

Producers

Back in 2017, Steve Smith and Brian Sheth were honoured to take on the legacy of Pyramid Valley and craft their own family of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The Orange wine is sourced from 2 Biogro certified vineyards in Waipara ('muddy water'), North Canterbury. Pinot Gris makes for most of the blend (98%) while Muscat and Gewurztraminer each account for 1%.

Tasting note	Luminous peach/copper hue, with a light haze. On the nose lifted floral aromas abound along with burnt orange rind and a nutty complexity. The wine is full bodied with a lovely texture and offers aromas of orange rind, peach and Negroni like flavours. PDF download full product information
