Situated above Clos Vougeot and one of the great wines of the Côte de Nuits, the Echezeaux received its AOC Grands Crus status in July 31st 1937. Its terroir is highly complex which creates a wine that is supple and smooth with a wonderful rich structure. This wine should be kept for several years to allow it to demonstrate its potential and refinement. | |

Tasting note |
Magnificent deep garnet colour with aromas of blackcurrant and clove. The palate is full-bodied, round and fresh, with aromas of mocha and liquorice. The tannins are silky leading to an airy, almost saline finish.
