At the end of the 19th century the Latour family acquired 0.81 hectares in the Chambertin Grand Cru appellation, forming a beautiful parcel extending from the top to the bottom of the hillside. The name Cuvée Héritiers Latour was given because the parcel has been passed down through generations of Latour family. The terroir of Chambertin is legendary; its exceptional richness is due to a geological phenomenon called alluvial fan. This deeply complex terroir is characterised by brown calcareous soils which breed powerful and complex wines with a long ageing potential. | |

Tasting note |
Very refined; delicately perfumed redcurrant aromas are followed on the palate by marked minerality, cherry and plum fruits and very long finish which is very long.
