Sparkling gold in the glass this wine offers an exquisite bouquet of honey, hazelnut and vanilla. It reveals balanced acidity and a full, plump structure in the mouth. Nuts and spice come together to reveal a luxurious and opulent wine.

Awards and Accolades |
17.5 points - www.jancisrobinson.com"Much more nerve and excitement on the nose than the Corton Charlemagne. Weight, opulence and (relative) excitement - though not truly, truly thrilling. This certainly has weight – and 14% alcohol like the Corton Charlemagne. There’s a certain tension in the undercurrent. Remarkably open though for a grand cru of less than two years old. Tingle of life but arguably middle-aged before its time." (Jancis Robinson MW, 28th January 2005) |
