Cognacs Frapin are made entirely on the family’s single estate which includes 240 hectares of vines surrounding the Château de Fontpinot. The whole property lies in the Grande Champagne area which is regarded as Cognac’s best appellation. This cognac is a blend of around 20 eaux-de-vie, all produced exclusively from the Ugni Blanc grape-variety. It has been patiently aged for more than 60 years. | |

Tasting note |
This cognac has an attractive orange-brown colour. It has a strong and complex bouquet. Fruity notes of dried apricots and figs, together with orange and liquorice, tobacco and scents of a cigar-humidor. On the palate, woody notes with prunes and dried fruits. The rancio is well developed and the length is exceptional.
