Nuits-Saint-Georges is the most southerly village in the Côte de Nuits. The village was originally called Nuits but added Saint Georges, the name of one of its finest vineyards, in the 19th century. There are no Grand Crus in this village. The wines tend to be firm and usually benefit from a few years ageing. | |

Tasting note |
The Nuits-Saint-Georges displays intense aromas of fruit such as cherry, blackcurrant and violet with a hint of spice. The palate is fresh revealing soft oaky, peppery notes with blackcurrant aromas. The finish is long and persistent.
