Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée as recently as 1987 in recognition of the consistently high quality of its wine. The wines are characterised by their robust and intense structure, influenced by the iron-based soils on which they grow. | |

Tasting note |
The Marsannay displays intense aromas of red fruits. The wine is full and the tannins are silky. On the palate red fruits blend beautifully with gamey, savoury flavours to create a fresh wine ready for enjoying.
