Tasting note |
Aroma of red and bramble fruits with a hint of spicy pepper and light oak notes. In the mouth the wine is medium bodied and round with fresh, juicy red berry fruit flavours and good length.

Ned Halley, Western Daily Press/Western Morning News, 29 Sep 2012Louis Latour Bourgogne Gamay is a waymarker in the story of Gamay. It is made under a newly created AC for Gamay wines made in the Beaujolais Crus, with the addition of a limited quantity of Pinot Noir wine from the overall Burgundy AC...the wine is 85 per cent Beaujolais from the Crus of Chenas, Fleurie and Regnie, and 15 percent Pinot Noir. It is both plush and juicy, silky and refreshing, every inch a Gamay and a Beaujolais. You'll be in no doubt. Jamie Goode, www.wineanorak.com, 24 Sep 2012Lovely vibrant juicy cherry fruit on the nose with some sappy greeness. Juicy and rounded with sweet cherry fruit on the palate, as well as some raspberry bite, and a bit of tannic grip. Very enjoyable. 89/100 |
